Caretaker setup will be finalized till May 15: Khursheed Shah

ISLAMABAD:  Opposition Leader in National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Shah has said that the meeting with Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was very fruitful and adding that the name of interim prime minister will be finalized till May 15.

Opposition leader said this while talking to media on Thursday that suitable person would be appointed as the caretaker premier. He added that any retired General, bureaucrat, retired judge or politician can be considered for the post.

Shah added that the former CJP name was given by Chief Election Commission however he refused the name of him as caretaker premier.

Opposition leader added that the name would be finalized for the caretaker premier till May 15.

It is pertinent to mention here that the meeting between PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Khursheed Shah to discuss the candidates for caretaker PM was held yesterday in Islamabad.
