ISLAMABAD: The private new channel has reported that the Central Board of Film Censors (CBFC) has given the green signal to Shoaib’s Mansoor movie ‘Verna’ after it was initially banned by the CBFC because of objectionable and sensitive content.
The CBFC lifted the ban after excluded the objectionable content in the movie and now the film ‘Verna’ is all set to be release on tomorrow as per the scheduled.
Earlier, on Tuesday, the Central Board of Film Censors (CBFC) announced that they had their reservations regarding the film and were unsure whether it was going to be released. Similarly, Sindh Board of Film Censors (SBFC) also said that the film was objectionable on the basis of its subject i.e. rape. Later the Punjab and Sindh Boards cleared the movie.
