Chairman NAB expresses resolve to end corruption from the country

ISLAMABAD: Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Justice retd. Javed Iqbal today (Monday) expressed resolve to root out corruption from the country and taking the Mega Corruption cases to their rational end.

Iqbal said that corruption was the root of all evil and that he was determined to end it from the country.

The Chairman while addressing a monthly evaluation ceremony for the prosecution and operation division of the institute said that regional bureaus needed to catch up and take their performance up to the standards being set by specific regions.

He said that the anti-graft watchdog’s corruption free Pakistan policy was baring fruit and that the institute would keep running active campaigns to build awareness and instilling law abidance in the residents of the country.

He also notified that the accountability body held it within its right to run awareness campaigns against corrupt practices under section 33 of the law.
