Chairman PSC asked to rearrange test for TMO posts

F.P. Report

PESHAWAR: Candidates who appeared in contentious test for the slots of Tehsil Municipal Officers (TMOs) have asked chairman of public service commission (PSC) to postpone the result and rearrange the same test for addressing the grievances of them.

In this correlation, the aspirants who appeared in test while speaking at a news conference on Thursday at Peshawar press club, said that massive mismanagement and irregularities took place few days back during the test organized by public service commission for positions of TMOs in which the paper had already been leaked by unknown persons.

Zohaib, Muhammad Shoaib, Imran Khan, Umar Khan, Hayat Khan, Ijaz ul Hassan and others on the occasion categorically said that the test had been conducted on January 31, at various localities of the province and unfortunately the designed paper had already been leaked and shared on social media. They alleged that most of invigilators at various halls had left the halls and went out who provided free hands to candidates.

Angry candidates raised questions over performance and credibility of public service commission and saying people are no more reposing confidence on it and because of the irregularities, the merit is widely violated. They urged Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Pervez Khattak and high officials of PSC to award unprecedented punishment to those who were involved in this heinous crime.

They asked PSC to conduct test for slots of TMOs in various districts like it was going to hold test on February 12 for positions of TMOs in Abootabad district. The candidates set 10 days deadline for PSC to rearrange test for them otherwise they would knock the door of high court along with staging protest demonstration in front of provincial assembly for their rights.
