PESHAWAR: Peshawar High Court has directed Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Chancellor of University of Haripur to decide case regarding recruitment of Additional Provost at BPS-19 within two months, on Wednesday.
The two-member bench of Justice Ibrahim Khan and Justice Muhammad Shakeel directed the petitioner that if the grievance will not address then he can approach PHC for remedy.
The petitioner Asfandyar has applied for various posts and obtain No Objection Certificate in this regard and eligible for the post as per advertisement.
The counsel for petitioner informed that recruited Additional Provost did not fulfill criteria as per advertisement and university after appointment hand over Controller of Examination charge.
The counsel added that the respondent was not appointed as Controller Examination due lack of administrative experience while recruited as Additional Provost which is also administrative post.
During hearing Justice Shakeel Ahmed remarked that such issue shall be address by Governor because applicants are approaching court to address their grievances.
The two member bench sent case to Governor for resolution of issue and directed petitioner if his grievance will not resolve then he can approach Peshawar High Court.
