Change of lecturer posts exam date demanded

F.P. Report

PESHAWAR: The candidates seeking appointments against two posts of lecturers for Pakistan Studies have criticized Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Services Commission (KPPSC) for announcing same date and time of written examination as all the eligible applicants have applied for above mentioned two posts and also submitted fees.

“The required qualification for the two posts of lecturers is MA Pakistan Studies. It is impossible for the candidates to appear for the written examination of two posts for which KPPSC has announced same time and date” a candidate told APP on Saturday.

He said that he has applied for the two posts as they both meet his educational qualification i.e MA Pakistan Studies.

The applicants told that it is a blunder on part of KPPSC who announced same date (December 18) and time (1:45PM) for the written examination in different places.

The candidates demanded to change the date of examination and for the two posts and save them from confusion and uncertainty.

When contacted the officials of KPPSC did not attend the phone.

It is pertinent to mention here that the KPPSC was announced posts for the lecturers in Pakistan Studies in Higher Education, Archives and Library Department through an advertisement (adv#6/2017 and serial#1 and the other one in Government Colleges of Management Sciences.
