LAHORE: Leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Chaudhry Sarwar will take oath as Punjab Governor on August 28.
According to party sources, Chaudhry Sarwar will resign from the Senate on August 27, a day before taking oath as governor.
The PTI leader will not shift to the Governor House and will continue to live at his home in the Defense area of the city.
On August 11, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had named Chaudhry Sarwar for the seat of Punjab Governor. The announcement was made by PTI Vice President Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
