KOHAT: Kohat University of Science and Technology, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Sardar Khan distributed scholarship cheques under Ehsaas undergraduate Program Phase II among deserving talented students of the university. Higher Education Commission (HEC) launched Phase II of Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship project in 125 universities of Pakistan.
Vice Chancellor Kohat University of Science and Technology (KUST), Professor Dr. Sardar Khan, chaired KUST Ehsaas Scholarship Committee meeting and interviewed 900 students from different faculties who have applied for Ehsaas Scholarship program phase II for the year 2021-2022.
The numbers of allotted seats were 113, while scholarship committee recommended and declared 709 students eligible by conducting a transparent process as per SOP’s shared by HEC. The 596 students were kept on waiting list, while all these students are belong to backward areas of Kohat and Tribal districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Vice Chancellor KUST took keen Interest and discussed with the Incharge Ehsaas Scholarship Program, HEC to approve all the recommended students of KUST for Ehsaas Undergraduate scholarship phase II. After consultation HEC approved the list of all deserving students (n=709) of KUST for undergraduate scholarship program phase II.
The Vice Chancellor KUST, Professor Dr. Sardar Khan appreciates the government’s initiatives for promoting education particularly through Ehsaas scholarship program. This programme will bring a long-term positive impact on individuals and their families lives via education progress. Prof. Dr Sardar Khan extents his heartiest congratulations to all awardees of Ehsaas Scholarship Phase-II.
