Chief Justice visits LRH

PESHAWAR: Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Saqib Nisar Thursday received a lot of complaints about lack of treatment facilities at Lady Reading Hospital (LRH), largest Teaching Hospital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Saqib Nisar was visiting LRH during his three-day visit to Peshawar to inspect service delivery at different government departments.

During the visit, attendants of patients admitted in hospital and even doctors approached Chief Justice and presented complaints to him.

Doctors complained that they have least resources while House Officers said they are not receiving salaries.

CJP visited Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and other wards of LRH to inspect standard of treatment facilities to patients.

CJP also asked from people as if they have any problem, `No change’ has been witnessed in the province as claimed by PTI, they replied.

The level of hardships being faced by people five years ago is the same and PTI failed in fulfillment of its promise of bringing improvement in service delivery system, the complainants added.
