CJP checking quality of milk, litigation waiting for solution of cases in courts: Nawaz

ISLAMABAD: The disqualified prime minister Nawaz Sharif has said that Chief Justice of Pakistan inspecting the health institutes and checking the quality of milk while the petitioners have been waiting for generations for the solution of their pending cases.

Former Nawaz Sharif said this while talking to media persons on Wednesday outside the accountability court as he appeared before the court in corruption case. Nawaz termed the recent senate elections suspicious and adding that he does not know the inside story but what former President Asif Zardari is up to is shameful.

Regarding the Senate election, Nawaz said that this was the result of backdoor maneuvering by Asif Zardari and Imran Khan that the government in Balochistan was changed and loyalties were sold for the Senate elections.

Nawaz Sharif added that he was not allowed to go to London to hold decisive meetings with doctors regarding his wife’s health. When a journalist asked why he did not go when he had five days off from hearings, he replied that the journey alone would have taken two days and the rest of days fell on weekend when the doctors do not work.
