CJP stresses on to work together to resolve public interest issues

KARACHI: Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice, Mian Saqib Nisar has said that joint effort is must for the healthy society and resolving the issues affecting the public.

CJP said this while heading a three-member bench. Justice Faisal Arab and Sajjad Ali Shah are also member of the bench and the bench hearing cases of substandard packaged milk, environmental pollution, and contaminated water.

During the hearing, CJ Saqib Nisar said that we need to stop the people who are playing with the health of the masses. He added that this is a matter of public interest issue and we need to sideline differences and will have to work together for it.

CJP thanked all government officials who are attending the hearing for coming in on a holiday.

Sindh Chief Secretary Rizwan Memon, Karachi Water and Sewerage Board Managing Director Hashim Raza Zaidi, and Sindh Health Secretary Fazlullah Pechuho, among other officials, are attending the hearing.
