CM assured the rule of law and upholding of merit

Peshawar: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan has said that the Prime Minister of Pakistan has the vision and the ability to successfully bring the country out of the present economic quagmire. The Prime Minister is accustomed to handle crises. The Saudi Crown prince visit to Pakistan would bring foreign investment to the country. The successful march to the revival of country’s economy took the opponents aback who worked against the interest of country and played havoc with the resources and future of the country during their rules. Malakand Division is fast becoming a tourist destination and the center of economic and trade activities where swat will have the central role because of the revolution in the communication network and economic development, he added. He was addressing the inaugural ceremony of the newly constructed general bus stand at bypass on 40 Kanal of land having three times more capacity than the old Adda and would play a key role to settle down the traffic congestion and would give more relief and facilities to the passengers.  It would also save Rs. 40 million annually. Tehsil Nazim Babuzai Akram Khan, SE C&W Jamil Ahmad and Exciene Engr Shahab Khan briefed the Chief Minister. Chairman DDAC & MPA Fazle Hakim Khan, Aziz ullah Garan, District Nazim Swat Muhammad Ali Khan, Commissioner Malakand Syed Zaheeul Islam, DIG Saeed Wazir and others were also present on the occasion.

The Chief Minister announced that after the inauguration of Swat Motorway in coming May it would be extended to Mingora in the first Phase and Bagh Dehri in the second phase. He appreciated the performance of TMA and ordered the release of Rs. 8 Crore for developmental activities. He said the people of Swat were true in penning expectations in him and the Chief Minister of the province  being from Malakand Division was a token of Jubilation for the people of the whole division for which the people were really indebted to Prime Minister for choosing a Chief Minister of the Province from a remote, terrorism and war hit area.

Mahmood Khan assured to resolve the problems of Swat gradually adding that Saidu Group Hospital would be developed on modern lines , the road network , education and health sectors would be developed, the Kanju Airport would be opened up and within the coming three  years most of the problems of the people would stand resolved . He said that the highway right from Chakdara to Kalam would be developed of international standard and Mahudand and Gabin Jabba would be linked to Kumrat and other tourism potential spots through road in order to attract mass scale tourists and boost tourism as industry which he added would generate jobs and would bring about prosperity to the whole region. These activities would bring economic stability in the region.

The Chief Minister lamented that the negative posturing of the political elite adding that they played ducks and druckes with the national exchequer when they ruled the province and the country and did nothing for the people. These elements had never been sincere to the people and the country but now the situation has changed and the people knew their enemies and their friends. He said that accountability of the corrupt and powerful will continue and professionally sound people would get given respect.  We would promote creative and innovative methods in order to bring dynamism in all sectors. He assured the rule of law and upholding of merit where justice will be given to all and the country would be run as welfare state as per vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
