CM assures release of development funds for all constituencies

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mehmood Khan Wednesday said the provincial government was taking measures to do development in all constituencies of the province without any discrimination.

Talking to MPAs from different districts here at his office, he said the government believes in equality and doing development projects in all areas on the same principle.

He said the provincial government was well cognizant of the problems being faced by backward areas and so it attached priority to development of these areas in the annual development plan.

He said completion of ongoing and welfare schemes was the top most priority of the government to remove sense of deprivation among the masses, adding that the government is determined to provide all basic facilities to common man in his own area.

The CM assured the delegation that all available resources would be utilized transparently for welfare of the people.

Mehmood Khan said that work on solarization of mosques, schools, basic health units and other centers of public interest was underway to address the issue of power loadshedding there.

He assured the parliamentarians that pavement of streets and roads would be completed in all constituencies at the earliest and reiterated provision of funds.

Earlier, the MPAs from Kohistan, Abbottabad, Kohat, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Charsadda and Mardan apprised the CM about problems in their respective constituencies.
