CM formally inaugurates night flights from Peshawar Airport

The Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan formally inaugurated the night flights from Peshawar Airport today. He welcomed the restart of the flights adding that the night flights had been suspended from Peshawar Airport after a terror attack sometime back.

He said the restoration of night flights would boost trade and commercial activities again in Peshawar. The PTI government was not oblivious to its stated stand for facilitating a change. The previous rulers did nothing for the poor and when the constitutional institutions start asking them for their wrongs these corrupt started propagating against these institutions, he added.

He was addressing the inaugural ceremony for the restart of night flights from Peshawar to UAE. He bade farewell to the 143 passengers on board PK255 from Peshawar Airport to

Al-Ain of UAE. The Chief Minister said that the Prime minister was vociferously persuading the friendly countries for the employment of our people. It was his firm advocacy that the friendly countries started giving relief to the Pakistani. He said the federal and provincial governments were aware of the hard ships of the Pakistanis living abroad.

Mahmood Khan said that because of terrorism, the Peshawar Air port has stopped flights but now it restarted flights as peace has returned to the province and the country and other airlines would start following FIA.  He gave credit to the PIA for launching its flights from Peshawar.

The Chief Minister said that Imran Khan was committed to the change of system and would fulfill all the promises made with the people. The previous rulers did everything against the people but PTI would ensure bringing a change and prosperity for the people. He said when NAB apprehended the looters and plunders, the corrupt started questioning the NAB. The people were aware of their assets well before their coming into the politics and how much assets now they have. These corrupts would not make good their escape for all the wrongs they committed during their rules.

Furthermore Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan announced free technical education for the 4000 male and female of the merged districts of the province in a ceremony at Center of renewable energy in collaboration between TEVTA and PATRIP foundation Germany developing the existing facility at government technical & Vocational center for women Hayatabad during his visit to the center. The Chief Minister underlined the need for technical education in order to produce skilled manpower to meet the future needs of the province. TEVTA also signed a MOU with skilled women service center and KP EZDMC. Provincial minister for Finance Taimur Salim Jhagra and MD KP TEVTA also addressed the gathering. Member of the Provincial Assembly Malak Wajid and ex-MPA Saqibullah Chamkani, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Muhammad Israr and other high ups attended the ceremony. The Chief Minister on arrival to the center was given a detailed presentation and was taken for a roundup of the center which was an extension of the advance technical center for the promotion of solar energy. The PATRIP foundation Germany would provide funding and technical assistant. The Wish International played a key role in the promotion of training.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister assured the promotion of technical education and the strengthening of technical education authority of the province adding that the trained people can lead their country to the new heights of development. The CPEC and the Rashakai economic zone necessitated the production of skilled manpower to guide the future of this province. TEVTA should serve as a launching pad for meeting the industrial and trade consumption in the future of this province, he added.

Mahmood Khan said that his government has a vision for the poverty reduction and economic stability, opening new avenue of employment to the skilled manpower. We wanted the provision of jobs and a clear direction for the trained youth adding that the provincial government had already taken a number of steps for the youth of the newly merged districts of the Erstwhile FATA. The 4000 youth will start getting training from coming March. The women vocational training center would be further expended enabling the youth to get a place in the market matching their skills, he added. He assured the provision of all out assistants for such programs.

Mahmood Khan stressed the need for the active role of private sector adding that the public sector was over-burdened therefore his government wanted a well coming role to the private sector to share the burden of engaging the youth in the productive sectors.

The Chief Minister stressed for the capacity building through discovering the solar energy avenue in order to cope with the energy crises in the country. This province has a lot of potentials that needed to be tapped in order to produce environmental friendly energy adding that the project by the center of renewable energy in the Wish International of the GIZ in the fields was a well coming step.

He called upon the traders and Industrialists to be in touch with the TEVTA that would provide skilled manpower for their commercial activities. The TEVTA should also cooperate with the traders donors and industrialists for the provision of skilled manpower to engage the skilled manpower thus contributing to the poverty reduction and overcoming unemployment in the province.

The Chief Minister on arrival to the center planted a sapling to mark the tree plantation drive 2019.
