CM Sindh directs to ensure better security measures on eve of Youm-e-Ali (RA)

KARACHI: A high level meeting on law and order held under Sindh Chief minister Syed Murad Ali Shah chief minister’s house in Karachi on Saturday.

Advisor to chief minister for information Murtaza Aahab, chief secretary Sindh, DG Rangers Sindh, IG Sindh police, Secretary home and other concerned officials attended the meeting.

Addressing the meeting Sindh chief minister directed to ensure better security measures on the eve of Yomi-e-Ali being observed on Monday.

Syed Murad Ali Shah said that since we are entering into the last ten days of holy month of Ramzan and eid shopping get momentum in these days with Bazaars packed with people therefore strict security measures are required to be take to maintain law and order.

He said intelligence work in markets be increased with deploying intelligence staff in plane cloths in markets.

Syed Murad Ali Shah directed officials concerned that security arrangements be taken to the extent so that people feel secure while shopping in markets.

IG Sindh informed the meeting that special security plan was chalked out in Karachi city during Ramzanul Mubarak.

Additional IG Karachi Dr. Ameer Shaikh informed the meeting that security to the 1306 Imam bargahs, 820 Majalisis and 330 mourning processions will be provided during Yomi-e-Ali.
