COAS condemns Quetta church attack

ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that terrorist trying to target our Christian brothers with an attempt to cloud the Christmas celebrations and create rift among the Pakistanis.

COAS condemned the terrorist attack at Quetta’s Church, calling it and calling it a coward attack and adding that targeting the innocent people will not deterred our fight against these evils.

He asked that people to stay united as the enemy wants to disrupt our unity and they can take advantage from it. COAS also appreciated the security forces quick response and saving the lives of dozens of other people.

Earlier, on Sunday in the suicide attack on church in Quetta, at least nine people were killed and more than 40 were injured.
