COAS stresses on intelligence sharing to defeat terrorism

ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on stressed that terrorism is not a problems of a single and it jeopardize the peace of the region and adding that it only be defeated through intelligence sharing and effective border management system.

COAS said this while speaking to a meeting to the Quadrilateral Counter Terrorism Coordination Mechanism (QCTCM) In Dushamnbe, capital of Tajikistan. Senior leadership of Pakistan, China, Tajikistan and Afghanistan were present in the meeting.

General Bajwa highlighted the achievement in the war against terrorism and sacrifices of Pakistan in this regard. He stressed on the participants that we needs to develop strong relation of intelligence sharing and improve our current border management system as it was the way of controlling the region from the terrorism.

General Bajwa also met with China and Afghanistan military leaderships and discus the bilateral common interest with the neighboring countries.
