Colin Munro reaches UAE to join Karachi Kings

DUBAI (Monitoring Desk): The destructive all-rounder Colin Munro has reached UAE to join Karachi Kings squad for the fourth edition of Pakistan Super League.

Munro landed in UAE today after the completion of New Zealand’s series against Bangladesh which ended on February 20. The hard-hitting batsman is all set to make his debut in Pakistan Super League this season. He was part of Karachi Kings in the previous season but couldn’t play due to national commitment.

The franchise retained him for season 4 in the Platinum category, he will now play the remaining season as an active player. The owner of Karachi Kings, Mr Salman Iqbal had earlier revealed that New Zealand’s flamboyant opening batsman will also come to Pakistan to play the games scheduled in the country.

Munro is currently at the second spot in ICC T20 ranking for batsmen. He is one of the only two batsmen in the world to score three centuries in international Twenty20 cricket. The inclusion of Colin Munro in the squad will surely strengthen the Kings’ side as the team is currently lost two games out of three.
