Combined marriage ceremony of 100 couples organized

PARACHINAR: A combined marriage ceremony of 100 couples was held at Parachinar on Tuesday in which elders, political figures and officials of political administration participated in it. Brigadier Akhtar Aleem, Political Agent Baseer Khan and other important elders and political leaders of the area were present on the occasion. The combined marriages ceremony of 100 couples was organized by Imam Khumeni Trust Mianwali and Madrassa Jaferia-o-Anjuman Hussainia Parachinar.

Brigadier Akhtar Aleem congratulated the newlywed couples and said that it is very pleasing that peace and happiness ceremonies area back in the area which is encouraging. He said that there was a time when residents of the area were facing terrorist activities like bomb blast and other incidents but now the security forces restored the peace with the help of people.

He stressed on the people to stay united against those people who are trying to disturb the peaceful environment of the area and creating problems for the people in this regard. Chairman of the welfare organization Syed Iftikhar Hussain Naqvi also spoke to the ceremony that it is the responsibility of every individual of the society to assist the marginal and neglected part of the society as it is very important for constructing a good and positive society. In the end, dowry was also given to the newlywed couples in terms of furniture, clothes, jewelry and crockery.
