Command and Staff Conference of Pakistan Navy held in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: The Command and Staff Conference of Pakistan Navy held at Naval Headquarters in Islamabad here on Thursday.

The conference was chaired by Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi.

Matters relating to the operational preparedness and development projects initiated by Pakistan Navy was reviewed and detailed briefing was given to the Naval Chief regarding ongoing and future plans, the spokesperson said.

The apex decision-making body of the Pakistan Navy also reviewed the prevalent current situation.

Mr Abbasi praised high morale and professionalism of Pakistan Navy officials amid escalation between Pakistan and India. The naval chief expressed satisfaction over its operational preparedness.

CNS Abbasi said Pakistan Navy was ready to face any challenge and misadventure against Pakistan’s maritime boundaries.

On March 25, CNS Zafar Mahmood Abbasi had attended an event of ‘Naval Chief Open Forum’ organised for chief petty officers (CPOs), sailors and civilians, Pakistan Navy spokesperson said.

On the occasion, Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi said that it was among duties of Pakistan Navy to adopt highest combat skills besides alongside possessing a strong character.

Abbasi urged, “We must have a firm belief that Allah Almighty is enough for us and He is the only guardian.”

The naval chief exhorted that PN has the responsibility to ensure combating skills and techniques besides a strong character.

A briefing was given to the naval chief over ongoing welfare projects and initiatives of Pakistan Navy.

During the event, CNS Abbasi also interacted with the CPOs, sailors and civilian officials and gave detailed answers to their questions.
