PESHAWAR: Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kohat appeared before Peshawar High Court (PHC) in Contempt of Court (COC), on Tuesday.
The COC petition was heard by two-member bench comprising of Chief Justice PHC Justice Qaiser Rashid Khan and Justice Nasir Mehfooz.
The COC was filed by Amjad Khan who is Independent Member Provincial Assembly from Kohat district. The petitioner seeking his due role in District Development Advisory Committee (DDAC).
Advocate General (AG) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa informed Peshawar High Court (PHC) that the petitioner is wanting to conduct operation of District Development Advisory Committee (DDAC) in accordance with his wishes.
The two member bench comprising of Chief Justice PHC Justice Qaiser Rashid and Justice Nasir Mehfooz directed Commissioner and DC Kohat to submit comments within fortnights.
