ISLAMABAD: Former Interior Minister and senior leader of PML-N, Chaudhry Nisar has said comparing Maryam Nawaz with former premier Benazir Bhutto is wrong and adding that Maryam Nawaz has a long way to go prove herself as leader.
Nisar said this while giving an interview to local news channel. Nisar rejected the comparison of Maryam Nawaz to Benazir and appreciated the struggle of Benazir Bhutto during her political career and Maryam is only recognized to be a daughter of former premier Nawaz Sharif, She has to do a lot of things than she will be recognize as a leader.
Maryam Nawaz needs to show some courage first by engaging in real politics and understand what politics is than partake in practical politics and this will be the way of considering her as a leader, Nisar added.
He praised the Benazir Bhutto career and adding that she spent time in jail and suffered a lot but Maryam Nawaz has a long way to go to prove herself as leader.
