Compensation grants to affected tribesmen of Bara

LANDI KOTAL: A total of 18400000 rupees were granted as compensation to 90 terrorism affectees of Tehsil Bara on Tuesday.

In this connection a simple gathering was initiated in the office of Assistant Political Agent (APA) Bara, Ismatullah Wazir at Khyber House, Peshawar that was attended by tribal elders, administration officials and heirs of the tribesmen of Bara, martyred or injured in militancy related occurrences.

The top official of Bara gave away cheques of Rs.0.3 million each to 47 tribal, killed in militancy while Rs.0.1 million each to 43 persons who got injured. The compensated persons were hailing from Sepah, Kamr Khel, Aka Khel and Shalobar areas of Bara.

On that occasion APA, Bara said that a handful money could not enough to fill efficiency created with death of dear and near ones but it was a support from the government to the effected families that they were not alone in that time of need. He vowed that the government would leave no stone unturned to work for the welfare of effected tribesmen.
