Conditions attached to deal with IMF is problem: Fawad

ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry has said there is issue of condition attached to deal with IMF as Pakistan wants a short term deal which does not affect our economic objectives.

Talking to UK news agency here he said “we want such transparent deal with IMF which is helpful for Pakistan during short term and it does not impact our long term economic motives.

He went on to say Pakistan is aspirant for an agreed  bail out package. We don’t want such conditions which  causes harm to our GDP growth rate.

He stated that Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif will meet IMF Chief after world government summit  in Dubai. This meeting will help to understand his stance and  will provide us opportunity to present our stance.

The premier will leave for Dubai on a day-long visit, on the invitation of Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum to participate in the seventh edition of the World Government Summit. He will also meet UAE leadership therein. 

PM Imran Khan  will be  accompanied by Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Finance Minister Asad Umar, Information minister Fawad Chaudhry,  Minister for Maritime Affairs Syed Ali Haider Zaidi and Adviser to the PM on Commerce Abdul Razak Dawood,

During his address at  World Government Summit, PM Imran Khan will highlight his vision on strong and prosperous Pakistan.

Heads of different states and countries, policy makers and experts will participate in summit.
