Condolence reference of deceased journalist held

LANDI KOTAL: Condolence reference in the memory of deceased journalist, Takbir Khan Afridi was held here in government boys high schools Zentara, Landi Kotal on Thursday. The memorial gathering was organized under the auspices of Rokhana Sabaoon Welfare Organization that was attended by scores of local media persons, local teachers and member of the civil society.

Speaking on the occasion Assistant Political Agent, Landi Kotal Niaz Muhammad who presiding the moot paid rich tribute to the role of Takbir Khan Afridi (Late) for serving the society and vowed that his mission would be taken forward on all prices.

“Death is the natural phenomenon but sudden death of Takbir Afrdi saddened every single person of his tribe that prove the fact that he was a noble person,” he said and adding the deceased journalist had assisted and guided the administration officials while pointing out problems being faced by the dwellers of the area. He assured that the administration would extend possible assistance to the heirs of dead journalist and announced Rs.50000 for the treatment of the ailing child of the deceased.

President Rokhana Sabaoon,Ajmal Afridi said It would take decades to fill the vacuum created by the sudden death of Takbir Afridi (Late),he added and said he was an icon for all of us and his services would be remembered for a long time to come. Journalist Abdul Azam Shinwari, Sudhir Ahmad Afridi and Shareefullah Afridi also spoke on the occasion. At the end prayers were for the departed soul and charity was distributed among the children and participants.
