PESHAWAR: Peshawar High Court (PHC) Wednesday fixed hearing of Contempt of Court suit against Prime Minister Imran Khan on March, 17.
Senior lawyer Mian Aziz-u-Din Kakakhel Ad-vocate had filed COC suit against PM Imran Khan, Firdous Aishaq Awan, Fa-wad Chaudary, Shezad Ak-bar and Chairman Pakistan Electronic Media Regu-latory Authority (PEMRA).
The petitioner had made Federal government as respondent in the case.
The COC suit states that special bench for high treason was constituted by honorable Supreme Court Of Pakistan and Justice Waqar Ahmad Seth was nominated as head of the special court.
The suit adds that all respondents had made immoral comments against honorable judges of special court. The petition also states that Chairman PEMRA has failed to stop such defamatory comments against honorable judges.
