Controversial tweets case: Court rejects Azam Swati’s bail pleas, declares him PO

ISLAMABAD: A special court in Islamabad has rejected the bail applications of former federal minister and PTI leader Azam Swati in two FIA cases registered against him for posting controversial tweets on social media, on Monday.

The court also declared him proclaimed offender in both the cases.

The order was issued by Special Judge Central Shah Rukh Arjumand.

The court further ordered the authorities to arrest Azam Swati wherever he is seen and bring him to the court.

The court issued these directives following the persistent nonappearance of Swati from court in both the case.
