Coordination stressed among legislative, executive branches

KABUL (Agencies): President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani met with Wolesi Jirga speaker Mir RahmanRahmani here at the presidential palace.

House speaker briefed the President on house works and approval of legal documents within last four and half months and thanked the President for improving coordination among the legislative and executive branches of the government.

Thanking Wolesi Jirga activities, the President said the house members considering the national interest have approved the national budget for 1399 fiscal year and that according to him, would help government to implement its programs on its due time and dates.

The President also emphasized on coordination between the two branches of the government, adding that bilateral sessions would be held to further improve coordination among legislative and executive branches.

Meanwhile, President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani met with Ahmad Nader Naderi, head of the Afghanistan Independent Administrative Reform and Civil Service Commission (IARCSC) here at the Presidential palace.

According to reports, the commission head briefed the President on their activities, progress in implementation of Human Resources Management System and organization chart of the civil service as well as the organization chart of the government cadres.

Thanking the commission works and their efforts for reformation in civil service sector in the country, the President extended necessary instructions to the commission works and particular on organization chart of the government cadres.

Both sides also discussed importance and non-importance of some key positions within the government, including that of the deputy ministries’ existence.
