D I KHAN: A police official was martyred while two people injured in firing by unknown miscreants here on Saturday. Police said that unidentified armed men targeted a police official near embankment at River Indus in Dera Ismail Khan when he was returning home after performing duty.
As a result of firing a police official was martyred while two others including a cop were injured. The attackers sped the scene after the crime. The body and injured were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities. Police said that the incident seems to be outcome of personal enmity. However, a case has been registered against unidentified attackers and investigation was kicked off.
