Copyright board holds meeting

KABUL (Agencies): Chaired by deputy minister of publication affairs for information and culture Fazil Sancharaki, the fifth meeting of copyright board was held.

In the meeting, deputy minister of publication affairs by praising members of the board for their attention to the issue of author and writer’s rights said there were two complaints for discussion one from Azem Publisher and Baseerat Publishers and the other was from Amiri and Naveesa Publishers, adding they would also discuss related to finalization of copy right support board.

Sancharaki further said that the copyright support board was fully responsible in connection with supporting the rights of authors and composers and should try to support efforts and hard works of the writers and prevent from misusing of literal plagiarism.

In the meeting, in presence of either side of complaint, issues were reviewed and discussed and necessary decisions were made.
