Corona thunder for poor or bless for professional beggars

Wadood Jan

Majority of people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are already poor and have been facing great difficulties in earning food but Corona added to their problems.

Tired of hunger and other domestic problems these poor people have made to roads and street and are seeking people to help them.

Women especially go door to door and ask for either help in the form of cash or ask to buy them some flour or other food items.

Usually, I have noticed, these women carry small girls with them which of course makes one to sympathize the situation.

Similarly, there are women who have occupied roads and especially they stand in the middle of roads to receive the attention of people. This can be fatal in some cases as vehicles on the roads at times over speed and can hit them.

Men have also been forced to leave their homes and seek help of people.

They have occupied various public spots and wait for someone to give them some cash.

But thing which troubles me that among these poor and needy people professional beggars have also started collecting money.

Their professional skill and experience work fast and they easily grab the attention of people and make them to spare some cash.

It is very annoying that in this troubled hour the deserving people often get nothing while the professional beggars make great money out of the situation erected by the corona.

Those who give alms or charities are also have got confused but this is not an enough reason to stop giving charities but needy people should be reached put in communities and should be helped.
