The participants of the conference reviewed ge-strategic situation and internal security situation in length and also kept it before the National Security Committee (NSC). The defence sources said that Corps Commanders conference was told that U.S President’s statement was against the facts as Pakistan has rendered uncountable sacrifices during the last fifteen years but these sacrifices have been ignored.

Sources said that Corps Commanders also made it clear that Pakistan would not do more and now U.S has to do more. It said Pakistan has waged war against terrorists irrespective of races, colours, and creeds. The Corps Commanders further said that there is no safe hideout of any terrorist outfit in Pakistan as action was continued against terrorists under operation Radd ul Fasad while FATA has been purged of terrorism.

They also clarified that Pakistan would ensure its security and defence without caring threat of anyone while Afghan war would not be fought in Pakistan at any cost. Sources said that Corps Commanders asserted early repatriation of Afghan refugees while in the perspective of Trump’s statement, the military leadership would enhance military diplomacy with the friends countries.
