Corruption reference: NAB witness submits details of Ishaq Dar bank accounts

ISLAMABAD:  Finance Minister, Ishaq Dar appeared before court in hearing of assets beyond income case and the National Accountability witness, Tariq Javed submitted the details of the Dar three bank accounts and a company owned by Ishaq Dar.

Tariq Javed informed the court that in 1991 one account was opened by Ishaq Dar and all the related evidence have been provided to NAB Lahore in this regard.  He added that he has been associated with Al Baraka bank from 1999 and now appeared before the court because wrote a letter and requested the Bank in this regard.

The NAB told all the attested details of Dar’s account was provided to NAB Lahore on August 17.

Khawaja Haris, counsel of Ishaq Dar questioned the authenticity of the documents and claimed any one can prepares these documents with ease and requested the court that this document cannot be made of the record until their verification, je added

However the NAB Prosecutor rejected the Khawaja Haris objection and told that these document are per he electronics transaction ordinance and adding that it is court duty to whether accept it or not.
