Corruption references: Court adjourns proceedings due to lawyers protest

ISLAMABAD: Accountability Court hearing the corruption cases against the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his family adjourns today’s proceedings due to lawyers protest.

Maryam Nawaz and her husband MNA Capt (retd) Safdar reached the judicial complex separately and senior leaders of PML-N were present to receive the former prime minister daughter.

Strict security was provided in the surrounding of court and police stopped the non essential people from entering in the complex which led to a fight with a lawyers in a result one lawyer was injured.

The lawyer’s starts protest against it inside the court and arguments with the deputy attorney general and created chaos, forcing the Judge Muhammad Bashir to adjourns today’s hearing

The next hearing will be held on October 19, when the accused will be indicted.
