Country being pushed into lawlessness at the behest of world powers: Fazl

F.P. Report

JUI Chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman has lamented that law and order situation in the country has disappeared, adding that there is no government in the country and the lives of the people are at risk.

Talking to a meeting, JUI chief said now terrorists were roaming in and around, the state has become helpless as it is unable to restore peace.

Fazl claimed that the game of international powers was being played in the country as Pakistan has become centre-stage for the conflict.

He said under conspiracy, the path of CPEC was being blocked. He said the interests of international powers were being promoted and today Pakistan’s economic path was being blocked.

He said, “We had a problem with Imran Khan’s government, but the current government has not been able to change the policy either”.

Fazl claimed that international forces were fully involved in Pakistani politics, adding that war like conditions were created intentionally.

JUI chief said there was no such thing as government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, there was no bad government here, there was only mis-governments.

He said the people who have been imposed here today were brought by the establishment. He said corruption in the province is at its peak.

JUI chief said tThe establishment itself has admitted that the seats in the national and provincial assemblies were snatched from JUI.

He claimed JUI was the largest party in KP province but its mandate was repeatedly snatched away. Fazl said JUI removed the poisonous provisions from the 26th Amendment.

JUI said the owners of mineral resources were the people of the province and their future generations. He said if the rights of the local and provincial people were violated during the legislation, Jamiat will resist.

He said, “We will not allow the rights of innocent people to be snatched away through legislation”. JUI chief said an attempt was being made to take away the rights given to the provinces in the 73rd Constitution. Fazl stressed that JUI was fighting for the survival of the country and the supremacy of the constitution.
