ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in National Assembly Omar Ayub has said that the country cannot move forward the way former Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan was being treated in the country.
Talking to media outside Adiala Jail, Omar Ayub said that ahead of meeting with the PTI founder, PTI leaders were advised by the Deputy Superintendent jail to avoid political talks with Imran Khan. He said PTI leaders visited their leader to discuss the political affairs of the country.
He questioned why PML-N leaders were not given such directives when Nawaz Sharif was in jail. He said agency officials showing their undue alertness. He claimed that PTI leaders will continue to discuss the political situation with Imran Khan. Omar Ayub said he would raise this matter in the Assembly.
He said that the country can not move forward with injustices.
Senator Shibli Faraz said that the entire nation knows PTI leaders meet their leader in Adiala Jail and discuss various political affairs.
He said today Deputy Superintendent threatened them that if they discussed political questions then the jail administration would adopt a legal way. He said PTI was a political party and they should give order that they can not give political statements in parliaments also.
Shibli Faraz said that new rules and orders were destroying the country. He said the powerful elements do not want this country may move forward. He said PTI always made politics of rules within the constitutional limits.
