Court grants 5-day judicial remand of PTI’s Gandapur

F.P. Report

KARACHI: A local court in Shikarpur has granted five-day judicial remand of former federal minister and PTI leader Ali Amin Gandapur.

A local court on Friday sent Gandapur to judicial remand. He was shifted to Sukkur Central Jail amid tight security.

A large number of PTI activists were present in the court during hearing.

On Thursday, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore granted three-day transit remand of PTI leader Gandapur to Sindh police.

ATC judge Abhar Gul Khan heard the case that had been registered against Gandapur in Shikarpur district over anti-state speeches.

The Sindh police approached the Lahore court for the transit remand of the PTI leader. The court first granted two-day transit remand and then extended it by one day due to Eid.
