Court rejects Dania Shah’s bail plea in lewd video case

F.P. Report

KARACHI: A local court has rejected the bail application of late politician and renowned TV presenter Dr Amir Liaquat Hussain’s third ex-wife Dania Shah in the obscene video leak case.

Judicial Magistrate Mukesh Kumar on Friday announced the verdict reserved earlier.

During yesterday’s hearing, the court reserved its verdict after hearing arguments from both parties.

Dania Shah is accused of leaking lewd videos of late MNA Hussain on social media.

The FIA registered a case against Ms Shah on the complaint of Hussain’s daughter.

The FIA arrested the accused from Punjab.

During yesterday’s hearing, Ms Shah told the court that Hussain was hungry for fame and she made indecent videos as he insisted upon doing so.

Talking to media, she claimed that the indecent videos of Hussain were saved on her mobile phone but she didn’t make them public and was unaware who posted them.

According to her, the videos were leaked by social media and youtube people.

“If my claim related to the videos is proved false, then I will accept my punishment,” she added.
