Court rejects Mochke police’s request for Sheikh Rashid’s transit remand

ISLAMABAD: A local court in Islamabad Monday rejected the request of Mochke police station in Karachi for the transit remand of Awami Muslim League (AML) head Sheikh Rashid Ahmed.

The judicial magistrate pronounced the verdict on three different petitions in Sheikh Rashid case.

The court, however, approved the request of Murree police station to include Sheikh Rashid in the investigation process.

The district and sessions court had conducted hearing on the petitions of Sindh police, Murree police and lawyers for Sheikh Rashid.
