Court rejects Swati’s bail plea in controversial tweets case

F.P. Report

ISLAMABAD: A special court in Islamabad has rejected the bail application of incarcerated PTI Senator Azam Swati in a case of controversial tweets.

The verdict which was reserved earlier in the day was pronounced by Special Judge Central Azam Khan on Wednesday.

The verdict says Swati has committed same offence twice. That’s why this court dismisses his bail plea, it concludes.

Prosecutor Rizwan Abbasi appeared before the special court.
