ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister, Ahsan Iqbal has said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is the geo-economic project not a project or conspiracy against anyone in the region and asked the Europe and America to stop seeing at from Indian perspective.
This he said while talking to local news channel. Ahsan said that CPEC is multibillion project and inviting the Europe and America to invest in it and grab the opportunity.
He added that this project will bring peace and development in the area as it will change the fate of the region by bringing peace and prosperity in the area.
Pakistan and some other countries of the region have paid a heavy price in war now we need development, energy and infrastructure and CPEC will provide all these things, Ahsan added.
He further added that internal stability is very important for the development and bringing investment to our country and the disqualification of Nawaz Sharif badly affected the progress of development halting the investment in the country.
