CTD kills two terrorists in Rajanpur operation

LAHORE: Two terrorists were killed in firing by their ‘accomplices’ during an intelligence-based operation of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Rajanpur, on Tuesday.

According to the CTD spokesperson, the deceased terrorists were identified as Ilyas and Irfanullah.

They and their accomplices were planning an attack on an intelligence agency.

They opened fire on the CTD team when the latter carried out a raid on their hideout.

During the exchange of fire, the two terrorists were shot dead by their accomplices.

Explosives, arms, and detonators were recovered from them.

Their three accomplices managed to flee away under the cover of darkness.
