ISLAMABAD: Cuban Ambassador Gabriel Tiel Capote on Tuesday called on Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi at his office in Islamabad.
Talking to the ambassador, Shah Mehmood Qureshi expressed the Pakistan’s desire to expand cooperation with Cuba in various fields, including health, education, and culture.
He said that social and economic development was the top priorities of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.
They agreed to exchange parliamentary delegations between the two countries.
Matters of mutual interests, bilateral relations, regional situation and other issues were discussed in the meeting.
Gabriel Tiel Capote assured Shah Mehmood Qureshi that his government would will take all possible measures to promote cooperation with Pakistan in healthcare and other sectors.
