Deadly raid of ASF on Taliban hideout held

LASHKARGAH (Agencies): As a result of Afghan Security Forces raid on Taliban hideout in Helmand, six armed insurgents were killed.

The Taliban were targeted in their hideout in Nahersaraj district.

Atal army corps media office with releasing a statement said, six armed insurgents were killed and their hideout with all ware equipment has been demolished.

Another report says, three weapons caches of Taliban were destroyed.

The caches were kept in hideouts of Taliban in Nahersaraj district and suburb of Lashargah city.

Police of Helmand said, several heavy and light weapons, bombs and mines were seized from the caches.

On the other hand, the security forces discovered and confiscated ten mines from crowded ways of Helmand and prevented from a series of explosions.

The Afghan security officials of the province blamed Taliban for the failed mine planting.
