Dean Jones appointed as interim Afghan cricket coach

KABUL: Cricket commentator and former Australian batsman, Dean Jones was appointed as interim head coach of Afghanistan cricket team for their upcoming Hong Kong tour.

Afghanistan Cricket Board (ABC) has announced that a well known Australian batsman Dean Jones will assist the Afghan cricket tea as the head coach during the four day international games in Hong Kong and adding that both ABC and Dean Jones will consider a long term agreement after the games.

Dean Jones said that he is happy to lead the Afghanistan cricket team in Hong Kong. He shared his view on a twitter and adding that he is looking forward to work with the talented Afghan team.
