Monitoring Desk

MUMBAI: Bollywood power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have officially confirmed that they are expecting their first child.

They shared the exciting news through a cute post on their Instagram handles, revealing that their little one is due to arrive in September 2024.

It’s such a wonderful time for Deepika and Ranveer, and their fans can’t wait to shower them and their little one with love and blessings.

Wishing them all the happiness and joy on this incredible journey of parenthood!

Earlier, there was speculation that Deepika and Ranveer were expecting their first child, especially after she made her appearance at the BAFTA Awards in a saree and hid her midriff. The two, however, maintained silence.

In a statement given to Vogue Singapore in January 2024, Deepika expressed her anticipation for parenthood, saying, “Ranveer and I love children. We look forward to the day when we will start our own family.”

It is pertinent to mention here that Deepika and Ranveer dated for six years before tying the knot on November 14, 2018, at Lake Como in Italy. The two met on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela’ and fell in love.

They have worked together on Finding Fanny, Padmaavat, and Bajirao Mastani. The two celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary last year in Belgium.
