Delimitation of constituencies will strengthen the democracy in country: Saad Rafique

LAHORE: Federal Minister for Railways, Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that the delimitation of constituencies will surely benefit the democratic system of the country and it will strengthen the democratic process in the country.

He said while talking to media persons on Sunday night at the wedding of Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif’s daughter wedding.

Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) said that any person who changes their political allegiance will have nowhere to go and adding that all parties agreed on the delimitation of constituencies.

He added that PML-N sacrifices nine of its seats from Punjab after the new constituencies. Regarding PTI chief Imran Khan Comments, he said that he makes irresponsible statements and that they, therefore, should not be heeded.

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Governor of Punjab, Rafique Rajwana, Marriyum Aurangzeb, State Minister for Interior Talal Chaudhry, Speaker of the National Assembly (NA) Ayaz Sadiq and Minister for Commerce and Textiles Mohammad Pervaiz Malik were also present in the marriage ceremony.
