ISLAMABAD: Defense Minister Khurram Dastagir Khan has said that the continuous of democratic process is very important for the country development and strengthening the democratic values in the country.
Dastagir Khan said that the tension between civil and military will remain until two to three democratic governments complete their tenure.
This he said while talking to private news channel. He said that foreign and economic policies are main reasons behind the tense relations among military and civil government and adding that the continuity of democratic government will eliminate those problems in the future.
Khurram Dastagir expressed his reservations regarding Supreme Court verdict to oust former prime minister Nawaz Sharif from power.
While talking about recent election, Khan said that some hidden hands were involved in our defeat in chairman and deputy chairman election.
