Deputy FM meets Afghan migrants

KABUL (Agencies): Deputy Foreign Minister Idrees Zaman met with a number of Afghan Migrants at the sideline of the Annual Meeting of Counter Narcotics Committee. This meeting took place in a banquet held by the Afghan Embassy in Vienna.

Idrees Zaman talked about Afghanistan’s achievements in relation to counter narcotics and added, “Challenges on the way towards counter narcotics require regional and international efforts.” Moreover, Idrees Zaman talked about negotiations with the Taliban, the Third Kabul Process Meeting, and holding of the Consultative Loya Jirga. He expressed his assurance that during the peace talks with the Taliban the achievements gained with the blood of Afghan martyrs over the past 18 years would not be compromised.
