Deputy PM Hanafi meets Markus Potzel of UNAMA

KABUL (Agencies): Afghan Deputy Prime Minister Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi in a meeting on Wednesday with the deputy UN office in Kabul, said the Islamic Emirate stays committed to cooperating with the United Nations.
The Press Office of the deputy PM in a newsletter said Mawlavi Abdul salam Hanafi, met with Markus Potzel, the Deputy Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General for Political Affairs in Afghanistan.
The head of UNAMA office in Kabul Potzel expressed his deep condolence for the lives lost in a recent natural tragedy in Afghanistan, adding that the United Nations is attempting to assist the suffered people of Afghanistan through humanitarian and other aid. Mawlavi Hanafi thanked the United Nations for its contribution to providing humanitarian aid and said that the Islamic Emirate is ready for any cooperation with the United Nations.
